  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 23 tbsp cold water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine flour, cheese, ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt; pulse until well mixed.
  3. Add the cold cubed butter and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gradually add cold water until the dough comes together without being sticky.
  5. Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  6. Place on the prepared baking sheet, prick each cracker with a fork, then bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow cooling completely on a wire rack before serving.
